Bobby Bates has managed and supervised acquisitions of companies, managed real estate departments, public affairs
departments and thousands of company assets across southeast Texas and Louisiana.
He supported and remains supportive of private property rights and free speech. Bobby spent 10 years in the mid-80’s
through the mid-90’s defending private and personal property rights, issues involving eminent domain, payment of just
compensation, and fighting against taxation without representation.
Bobby has lobbied City Councils, Zoning Boards, County Commissioners, State Legislators in Austin and lawmakers in
Washington, D.C.
He has employed contractors and negotiated budgets for national corporations with annual budgets well above $30 million.
